I have had Craig saw logs for me on two occasions. A little over 7,000 bd. ft. after a tornado blew down timber and a little less than 7,000 a couple of weeks ago from Hurricane Ida downed timber. Craig is very detail focused. He does a very good job of getting your needed lumber out of your logs. His billing information is precise and there are no questions.

I was very impressed with Craig’s work ethic, attention to detail and quality of his work product. When I have more logs to mill down to custom sizes (as well to standard sizes) I will not hesitate to get Craig to do the job!! Extremely satisfied!!!

I planned to build a cabin on some land using timber from that land. I could not find a sawyer around Laurel who would come to my place and mill the trees. I had no way to haul that many logs.

Craig agreed to come. Craig gave me step by step instructions on how to prepare. Craig gave me good, sound advice on the construction of the cabin. Craig showed up when he promised and instructed us on stacking and preserving the wood after he was gone.

According to the Doyle Log Scale, I was going to be just short of the lumber required for the cabin. Craig Foreman went way beyond my expectations. I got more than enough lumber to construct the cabin from the logs I had cut.

Even though the work crew was two women and one man, all old boomers, Craig made it fun. He truly loves what he does. We plan to start another project in the coming year and we will use Craig again. Thankyou Craig!

I’ve had the honor to meet his wife and work with both his boys and they are all dedicated workers. I’ve heard it said that integrity is doing the right thing even when nobody’s looking. Well that defines the Formans! He sawed over 4000 L feet of 1×8, 2×8 and 8×8’s for me and educated me on the different types of trees I had.
